Wild-Boar's-Head Hunting Trophy Takes Precautions.

On Saturday night our niece's 21st was held at my brother's local, the Beaumont Hotel. There we witnessed the precautions that conscientous Beaumont locals have taken against any danger to local pigs from Human Flu!

That gave me a chuckle - Actually I gather it is the infected ones who should be wearing masks -the mask is not such effective protection if the uninfected ones wear it - so all the humans should have been wearing masks to avoid infecting the pig :)
I wonder how long before it spreads to Otago/Southland - it seems you have been lucky down there so far

Ha Ha - I love it. I just hope it doesn't come back with avengence in the autumn.

It seems to be confined to the West here, and most round about Glasgow airport.

Catherine - I love the humour, a kiwi strength.
We don't know if swine flu's here yet or not cos no tests being done ... Maybe it's too cold down here for the bugs.

CGP - I think so.

Apprentice - Yes seems to be in pockets here too.

Clocking Out

I have been neglecting this blog for some months. I think perhaps I should face facts and accept that it is indeed time to retire this blog...
