Homeless Hermits

Talented poet Dana from the blog My Gorgeous Somewhere is launching a poetry project (that also involves shells) designed to help out struggling Hermit Crabs. Go here to find out more about this fascinating campaign.

I'm off to check it out.
My poetry muse has been on a protracted snooze. Maybe this will arouse her. ;-)

I sent this to a friend who is working on human homeless just to let her know there's more work to be done.

One more good cause to take up, one more reason to write poetry.

Kay, thanks for talking about it here. I don't think getting poems will be too hard, but we need shells! I have some coming in the mail from various folks, but I would like to get as many as possible for use in the project.

And if people have ideas for shells that can be fabricated using nonbiodegradable but nontoxic materials, that would be great, too.

Oh and also, please pardon the site. It's a work in progress. It's in the very early stages. :)

This sounds like a worthwhile endeavor and I hope it goes well. Keep writing, Kay.

Clocking Out

I have been neglecting this blog for some months. I think perhaps I should face facts and accept that it is indeed time to retire this blog...
