As it Happens

Thanks to Mapiprincesa of All (green) Thumbs blog for the challenge to write a memoir of myself in six words. Now I in turn challenge anyone to whom the idea appeals. Let me know when you've added it to your blog.

Ooooo!

I LOVE IT!

Great one... hard to sum it all up in six words, ¿no?

Be well, Chief!

i like it!

i did one of these a while ago and had a bit of trouble coming up with something succint that covered what i wanted to say.

hope you are well and enjoying the last of the summer over there, we've had snow in london - eep!

mapi - Thanks ... it was fun! I'm not sure it's entirely true all of the time - I am probably more often akin to a sad old wilted cabbage leaf!!!

ccm - Snow in London sounds excellent to me! ;)

In New Zealand, is that SIX words??? Hmm. It's only FOUR words here in Utah....

You must count different than we do. Or, we than you.

Very nice CB! Um, I counted six words: I bloom whenever I am planted. The words on the lawn mustn't have shown up for everyone! :-)

You definitely bloom! XXOO

Kay Cooke said...

pepek - There are two words written in daisy language on the lawn ... ;)

shameless - Whew! I'm glad you saw the two words!

Tammy - Aw Shucks, thanks Tamz!

Hail to the Chief! And thank you.

You are a bloom without a doubt, CB. I know I cannot perform this task myself. Or I'm pretty sure I can't. I don't have that poetic bent like you.

But I'll do some thinking about it.

rethabile - Thanks to you too - another bloomer!

Becky - You are an awesome writer with a wicked sense of humour that leaves me way in the dust (which I like!) :) I'm sure you can come up with a funny six-worder - no problem.

wendy - Perfect!!! As far as I'm concerned then, you've already achieved the challenge! :)

kj - Yeah - lucky you. ;)

Hmmm. I STILL can't see the first two words. But I do believe you that they are there! Many things can't be seen with the naked eye, as Christina Rosetti said.

Kay Cooke said...

pepek - Yep they are there - the two words are:
'I Bloom'
It says it with flowers ;)

I love your "blooming" words so much that I've added them to the list here:

http://weekendwordsmith.blogspot.com/2008/02/six-word-memoir.html

You are now #23, and I'm #12 with these words:

internal dialogue
discovered blogging
shared dialogue

If you want me to remove yours, I will, but I do love the way you expressed yourself.

Clocking Out

I have been neglecting this blog for some months. I think perhaps I should face facts and accept that it is indeed time to retire this blog...
