All's Well

We started Christmas festivities early ... my granddaughter (above) goes to her 'other side of the family' this year for Christmas Dinner - so we snuck in an early one.
Still have family around for the main one though. Two Christmas dinners may seem a little greedy ... but it is rather enjoyable all the same.

Thanks to all who worried about me in the earthquake - it was miles away; in the North Island; so we didn't feel a thing here in Dunedin.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

G'day from Oz,

I was travelling, but I did hear about the earthquake and was worried because I have quite a few Kiwi blogging friends.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Keep smiling

CB,
That young-un resembles her grandma quite alot. ;)

I see nothing amiss with two Christmas celebrations, why we ourselves celebrated Christmas last month in Texas with our grand-daughters.

Merry Christmas, CB to you and all!

Oh, Chief, thank you so much for checking in. So nice to hear from you...a great present, indeed. What wonderful pics!

great pic. that's so sweet that people were checking in with you, even though you are definitely far away from the events. my husband's parents were holidaying over there and we're just hoping they are okay as they have no phone we can contact them on. still, they're pretty resourceful people and i'm sure they are okay. but we still worry, since we are halfway across the world and can't just pop over to make sure they are fine.

hope you have a great christmas!

i'll have two christmases also, chief--two wonderful days sandwiched around too much hustle and too much bustle. i never learn.

it's wonderful to see your granddaughter--a doll! and its's so nice to check in and see you're back, safe, and ready for the holidays.

She's a pretty wee girl, lovely complextion.

Two dinners sounds a lot of fun if you're not cooking.

Happy New Year.

we love those poppers in California, too! especially the French jokes, which we usually ascribe dirty meanings to (since no one here speaks French). Merry Christmas! Happy New year!
